To me, it makes more sense to rename the cover page 1, because it’s not included in any page numbering sequence. To fix this all you need to do is rename one of the “page 1”s. InDesign is confused! I got this message when I tried to apply a new master page to the cover page (1):īasically it’s telling me it can’t apply the master page I want, because there are 2 x “pages 1”s in my document.
